Muzinich & Co., a global corporate credit specialist based in New York City, has appointed Sashi Nambiar as head of financial intermediaries and wealth for Asia as it continues its expansion in the region.
In his newly created role, Nambiar will lead the firm’s engagement with private banks and family offices across Asia, including Singapore, Hong Kong, South Asia, and Southeast Asia.
Based in Singapore, he will report to Andrew Tan, chief executive officer of Asia-Pacific.
Nambiar joins from PGIM, where he was most recently head of Southeast Asia. Prior to that, he was managing director, global wealth, at Wellington Management. He brings 18 years of industry experience, with leadership roles covering private banks, family offices, and sub-advisory markets across Asia.
Nambiar is the latest addition to the Muzinich team in the Asia-Pacific region. Aside from its regional headquarters in Singapore, the firm has offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.
